What we do for small and growing businesses
Most owners we meet are also the IT department, and did not apply for that job. Here is what we take off you — and what we will tell you not to buy.
-
We tell you what you don’t need
Not every business has a flexible technology budget, and we will not push you into an overhaul you cannot carry. We scope the work to what the business actually needs now, and say plainly when something can wait.
-
Nobody talks you out of what works
Where the software you already run is still doing its job, we keep it doing its job rather than making a migration out of it. Where something has become a real liability we tell you, and move you off it carefully.
-
One desktop, every machine
We build one managed desktop and every workstation runs it, so your team is on the same setup rather than a dozen slightly different computers that each need their own attention. And because the work happens on our system rather than on the computer in front of someone, that computer does not have to be powerful — a small, inexpensive box (the trade calls it a thin client) does the same job as a full PC, costs a fraction of one, and lasts years longer because it is not the thing doing the work.
-
Nothing lives on the laptop
Where we set the network up on Citrix, your files live on a central, backed-up system reached online — not on the device in someone’s bag. A machine that goes missing takes no data with it.
-
When something gets through, the clock is what matters
We treat an active attack as the emergency it is: contain it, then rebuild from a known-clean image rather than nursing infected machines back one at a time. That is the difference between an interruption and a shutdown.
-
And the honest version
Plenty of businesses would rather keep their own machines the way they are, and we will still support you. Be aware that recovery times and what is at risk change dramatically without the central setup — we would rather you knew that before something happens than after.
-
You are not the IT person any more
Remote support on whatever you already own, and one number to call, so the day-to-day stops landing on whoever in the office is least busy that morning.
We do not sell services off a menu. If some of this is already handled and you only need one piece, that is the conversation — and if we are not the right fit, we will say so.
