  Heavy work moves into a virtual environment, so a five-year-old PC runs drafting and billing software at full speed instead of being the reason someone is waiting.

• The files come back

  Backups are only worth what a restore proves. Yours get checked, so the answer to “can we get that file back” is known before the day you need it.

  Gateway filtering, antivirus and intrusion prevention sit in front of your client records, because the cheapest ransomware incident is the one that never reaches a workstation.
