Vision Solutions, Inc. bills itself as the world’s leading provider of information availability software and services for Windows, Linux, IBM Power Systems and Cloud Computing markets. Its key products, Double-Take®, MIMIX® and iTERA™, provide continuous availability and disaster recovery that support business continuity, meet compliance requirements and increase productivity.

Vision Solutions in July, 2010 acquired Double-Take Software, Inc. whose software products DIBS has been using for years to meet client requirements. The Double-Take® suite of products are used in Windows, Linux and AIX environments and provide the most comprehensive feature set designed to keep business-critical information systems continuously available. It makes possible the capture of changes to data, applications and critical system objects in real time and replicates them to alternate (backup) servers. More importantly, they enable controlled, non-intrusive switching and fast, reliable failover to meet any contingency. The product suite is scalable, application independent and ready for virtualized and clustered environments.
The various software modules that make-up the Double-Take® suite of products include:

• Double-Take Availability – provides an easy to use and affordable disaster recovery solution that enables immediate physical or virtual server failover and recovery from any system or site outage.
• Double-Take Move – makes possible simple, no-downtime migrations of physical or virtual workloads with real-time replication while users are online and productive.
• Double-Take® RecoverNow (formerly Double-Take Backup) – protects entire servers continuously to disk, making possible rewinding from an outage and fast forwarding through down time.
• Double-Take Flex – allows the management of multiple desktops and servers from one simple console for rapid deployment, provisioning and re-provisioning desktops and servers on-demand
• Double-Take Cloud – provides backup and recovery to and from the cloud with four layers of security to insure information remains secure.

Vision Solutions offers comparable product solutions to the Double-Take product suite for IBM hardware with its MIMIX® and iTERA™ line of software products. DIBS however will initially be primarily focused for requirements in the Windows environment.
